\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Training Nationals for Nationals\u00a0in integrity and skills (Psalm 78:72)<\/div>\n
1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Myanmar:\u00a0 The three of us had a great time with pastors and students in Myanmar.\u00a0 God was so good though we faced some obstacles.\u00a0 \u00a0He gave us the victory in Christ Jesus.\u00a0 The 14 year old seminary had lost its external support, yet it keeps on going trusting the good Lord to supply.\u00a0 The 8 lecturers are soldiering on without pay.\u00a0 This is a great investment for leadership training.\u00a0 It is for adoption till January 2012 and then after that, it will relook and rework its training program.\u00a0 The place is there; all it needs will be some funds for the lecturers and food for the 50+ students.\u00a0 Please look at the attached photo of the pastors and students.\u00a0 Please pray much for God\u2019s supply, about US$1600 or S$2000 per month for the next 6 months.\u00a0 The US$ has depreciated 30% since last year and recession is very high.\u00a0 \u00a0He is always faithful.<\/div>\n
We are also helping out another seminary under Rev. James of Mandalay.\u00a0 He was much appreciative of the student scholarships for the Seminary.\u00a0 Thanks to you all who are praying and sacrificing for His cause in the poor 55million+ population country, economically as well as spiritually.\u00a0 We pray to train nationals for nationals.<\/div>\n
2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I will be away\u00a0in\u00a0Vietnam\u00a0,\u00a05 - 10 August, with a family for personal reasons, plus meeting up with some pastors and leaders for the ministry in 2012.\u00a0 God will lead and bless.<\/div>\n
3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Medan,\u00a0September 5 - 9:\u00a0\u00a0 Rev. Andrew Tan and I will be training the good number of 65+ pastors and leaders from Medan, Acheh and Nias.\u00a0 God be praised for supplying us some material to help in the training.\u00a0\u00a0 Last session for the year will be on 21 - 25 November.<\/div>\n
4.\u00a0 \u00a0Nepal
\nSeptember 18 \u2013 22\u00a0:\u00a0 Kathmandu \u2013 Training and 1st<\/sup>\u00a0Graduation. Please come and celebrate with us!
