\nTraining Nationals for Nationals<\/p>\n
Hi friend,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Training Nationals for Nationals<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in integrity and skills (Psalm 78:72)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n EMMANUEL<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBehold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us<\/i>\u201d (Matt. 1:23).<\/p>\n What a great Good News from God - Jesus, the\u00a0Emmanuel, God with us, for us and in us.<\/p>\n Yes,\u00a0Jesus is truly\u00a0Emmanuel, God with us<\/span>, on that first\u00a0Christmas day and forever identified with us. He is the Mighty God, the Almighty, all-wise, all-powerful, all-present and all-loving.\u00a0 Yes, He is able to save, sustain and provide.\u00a0 Yes, He sets His heart upon us\u00a0now and forever more.\u00a0 Yes, it was for us that He took the journey from Heaven to earth and to the cruel Cross and\u00a0death and resurrection.\u00a0Because He lives forevermore, He saves us to the uttermost. Nothing can separate us from His love and care!\u00a0 What a wonderful Saviour!<\/p>\n Yes, He is truly\u00a0Emmanuel,\u00a0God for us<\/span>.\u00a0 He entered into human experiences, touched with the feelings of our infirmities, and yet without sin.\u00a0 He knows our every need, every cry and every joy and He cares.\u00a0 And yes, even we go through the valley of the shadow of death, He had been there, and He will lead us in and through death into His loving and eternal presence ...\u00a0no more\u00a0tears, pain, sorrow and separation ... yes, where He will be our God and we His children.\u00a0 His Cross, Death and Resurrection paid the way for us to come, away from the kingdom of darkness into His marvellous and joyous Kingdom of Light.<\/p>\n Yes, He is truly\u00a0Emmanuel, God in us<\/span>. He\u00a0had come for us so that we can come to Him.\u00a0 As we come, He will not cast us out, but welcome us into Himself with open arms.\u00a0 When He is welcomed into our lives, He comes to dwell in us. Our bodies become His dwelling place.\u00a0 We are God-possessed men and women. Yes, Christ in us, the hope of all glory.\u00a0 With Him in us, we have His peace, purpose, power, provision and a place in Heaven.\u00a0 Truly we have the great and loving God.\u00a0 Truly He is worthy of our love and worship and praise and testimony ... O, how we love you, Lord ! Yes, the\u00a0new year will begin soon<\/span>. Oh, that God Himself will come down and visit His people with great revival fire ...burning away all dross of sin, self and Satan and fill us with His Holy Spirit of fire and fire us up with\u00a0 fresh vision, passion and action ... that the world will know that God is able and most willing to love, save and bless.\u00a0 Grant it, O Lord God Almighty!<\/p>\n God blessed Christmas and New Year to you and all yours!<\/p>\n QUICK MINISTRY UPDATES 2014<\/span>:<\/p>\n 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Nepal<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 We had two precious training sessions in March and September.\u00a0 The good Lord willing, there will be graduation in September, 2015. (Please see more news at Faith@Work Fellowship Facebook.)<\/span><\/p>\n 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Medan, Indonesia<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Four sessions were held in Feb., June, September and November.\u00a0 Our point-man Rev. Haposan has been working hard in getting the facilities ready for the training sessions.<\/span><\/p>\n One project is to build and refurbish a place for visiting trainers and pastors to stay instead of staying in hotels.\u00a0 The on-going project needs S25,000 to complete. (Please see photo of the big projects that are going on.)<\/span><\/p>\n 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Myanmar<\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 The Spiritual Conference for the Fellowship of some 30 churches in January was well attended.\u00a0 The Pastors\u2019 Workshop was conducted in November.\u00a0 Two churches celebrated their 25th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary.\u00a0 Praise the good Lord for preserving and blessing the fellowship of churches.\u00a0 Jan. 22-26, 2015 will be another Spiritual Conference.\u00a0 Some 400 will gather in Yangon.\u00a0 28 will be graduating from three Bible Seminaries.\u00a0 (Please see photo of one of the conference participants).<\/span><\/p>\n PRAISES TO THE LORD GOD!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Praise the good Lord for\u00a0all our trainers<\/span>\u00a0that have sacrificed so much to the vision of Training Nationals for Nationals.\u00a0 Praise the Lord for the\u00a0leaders of the various countries<\/span>\u00a0who worked so hard in getting the Nationals for training.<\/span><\/p>\n 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>God was great and good in setting Rev. Goh aside through some physical infirmities to enter deeper into His love and care.\u00a0 He has also learnt how to listen to the whisper of God and to yearn for fire in his bones. Now for a greater vision and better passion for God and for Nationals!\u00a0 Thanks for journeying with him in prayer and in so many practical ways.\u00a0 He will be back in training Nationals, starting with the Spiritual Conference in Myanmar, January 22-26, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Last and not least, praise the good Lord\u00a0for all of you<\/span>\u00a0that have prayed and supported the Lord\u2019s unique ministry in training Nationals for Nationals.\u00a0 Some have given above their tithes and offerings to their churches.\u00a0\u00a0Our 2015 budget stands at S$39,000.<\/span>\u00a0 One\u00a0unique request will be the needed S$25,000<\/span>\u00a0for the Trainers quarters in Medan.\u00a0 Our ministry together is one by faith.\u00a0 We let God know and we let God\u2019s people know and our God will supply all our needs together.\u00a0 Let us pray for some special love gifts for the budget and for the Trainers quarters.\u00a0 Please let us know of what the good Lord will\u00a0 have you to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Thanks again for your prayers and support in so many ways. \nIn celebration of His birth, let us\u00a0thank Jesus<\/span>\u00a0for giving up the riches and splendor of Heaven to be born a poor and humble infant. Thank Him for dying on the cross, even though He Himself was sinless, so that we may find forgiveness and reconciliation with the Father.
\nThen we should\u00a0make room in our hearts for others<\/span>, so that we can find room for Jesus. By reaching out and witnessing to those who need to hear about Jesus, we can experience Christ even more fully.
\nYes, when we preach, teach and share Christ and His love in simplicity and trust in His loving will and pleasure, He is sure to work in hearts and souls.\u00a0 God is truly in the soul-saving business.\u00a0 Our Father works and therefore we work.\u00a0 We sow, water and reap, and the good Lord gives the increase, to the praise of His glory. Then we, His people praise and love Him more and better.\u00a0 Praise the Lord.
\nThe Christmas story can never be told too much. His coming was never meant to be secretive. After all, God emptied Himself and became a man. He stepped out of eternity and into time, and \"we beheld His glory, the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father.\"
\nNow it's our turn to step into the spotlight and tell the old, old story that's ever new.<\/p>\n
